Trout Fishing Report Week 32a – 2015
The group was: Niklas Brännström, Adam Nylander, Joakim Berggren, Hans Lindström, Groupleder Per Brännström and Chief Camp Officer Jena.
We started our fishing week in Wolf, Kharlovka. Although it was quite bad weather the first couple of days the big trouts were there. The very first cast gave a nice trout around 3 kg. In total we caught on our days in Wolf, 28 trout over 1 kg up toa round 5 kg. The average size being 2.5 kg. Amazing!!! Best flies, Wolly Bugger, Streaking Caddis and Tjernobyl Ant.
Later on the week we moved to Swan, Litza and the weather was improving. There were some caddis hatches but not so much rises from trout. Adam had some fish rising in one pool and caught several nice trouts before he lost a big one that sppoled him out ! We caught 63 brown trouts over 1 kg and the average size being 2 kg. The biggest around 4 kg. There were some bigger ones and Joakim lost a fish estimated around 7 kg on a small nymf. Best flies was Caddis Dry, Streaking Caddis, Wolly Bugger, Tjernobyl Ant and Wasp dries.
This was the first time here for all of us and all of us cant wait to go back!
Amazing place and the best Brown Trout fishing in the world.
