Kharlovka web report for the week 23 ending Friday 8 June Cool conditions and silver springers all round! Wind – rain – sleet and snow with air temps in the low single digits couldn’t hold back our latest group of mostly ASR veterans who managed to release 60 good salmon during the week. Rynda week 23 ending 9th of June 2017

This was the first week of the season 2017. The short description leading up to our opening week could be ‘Record amounts of snow along with a very-very late spring’. Snow levels along the northern coast topped an 80-year high last winter. This in addition to the late arrival of spring with the low air temperatures for most of May has produced low water conditions and huge snow banks to start the season. Rynda week 23 ending 3rd of June 2016

Rynda season 2016 is opened! The first week started in the low water conditions. Therefore fishing was comfortable in most of the pools below the First Fall. Upriver is still too high. In a very first day we landed 5 first salmon ranging 12 to 22 pounds. Two of them from the Home pool were sealiced. Early start for Rynda! Springtime on the far northern coast is for believers only – and this season, with some hard work, determination, and a lot of luck, all their dream came true!
