We had a wonderful week! Even though the weather was unseasonably cold and the fishing was challenging and unpredictable as usual – everyone thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.
All the gentlemen came to Kharlovka camp full of enthusiasm and ready to test their skills.
Martin started the group off right with a nice fish of 19 pounds.
We would also like to congratulate Hubert, Cedo and Jean for landing their new personal bests of 16, 20 and 18 pounds.
Nevertheless, as fishing is a sport, the slogan for our fishing guests was: “The main thing is not to win but to participate”. With this declaration, even though the weather was colder than expected, returning back wet and tired most evenings – everyday seemed to be a joy with many of them returning singing songs.
After dinner they would entertain themselves tying secret flies and discussing the most active pool.
In this friendly atmosphere, half of our camp staff (including Boy – our camp dog) started to speak French.
Thank you all for coming to stay with us this week. We will be impatiently waiting to see you all back again next year;)
